The award was presented by Richard Skala, director of Customer Services division from the North Suburban Sectional center. Letters of congratulations were received by Postmaster Heckmann from Clarence B. Gels, regional postmaster general, and Stanley S. Rakowski, sectional center manager. On Sept. 26Tfor the first time in its seventy-eight year history, a woman, Caroline Nelsen (Mrs. Ray Nelsen), of Bav View lane, McHenry was elected to the Pistakee Yacht Club Board of Directors. Mrs. Nelsen has been a member of the club for eighteen years and has long been interested in the history of the Bay area and in the preservation of the historic club house. On Dec. 29, 1897 a group of Pistakee Bay men formed a not-for-profit Illinois cor poration called Pistakee Yacht club.
