Why the apples you buy at your National have such a special taste! The big, juicy apples now at your „ National come from a famous apple- growing area: Lake Chelan, Washington. These apples have a very special taste because the climate there is perfect for growing them just right. Lake Chelan is about 100 miles south of the Canadian border. Most of the apples in the Lake Chelan Valley are grown at altitudes ranging from 1,150 to 1,700 feet above sea level. National is very fussy about the produce it buys. That's why, even in Lake Chelan, we order only from the prime grower there. We have a firm policy: we order only from the prime grower in every growing area. Since we work with prime growers all over the country, you get the greatest variety of fresh produce at National. Even so, all National produce is sold at competitive prices--now and always! % national FOOD
