The Last Stitch Before Bazaar Shown above are two of the Zion Ladies Aid members, Kale Baumann and Hilda Ksellman, putting final stitches on one of the pillows which will be sold along with many other lovely items at the annual Fall Bazaar to be held Wed., Nov. 10, from 1 to 7 p.m. at Zion Lutheran-chruch. There will be two beautiful full-sized quilts sold by silent auction. Also featured, there will be a bake sale along with a plant sale and the Country Store which will offer homemade candies and preserves. Coffee will be served while visitors look over the many things. ILLINOIS 385-4100 Deaths ANTHONY SCHWARZ Anthony Schwarz, 62, 501 Country Club drive, died Oct. 28 at St. Luke's hospital, Milwaukee, Wi. Mr. Schwarz was born March 13, 1914, in Germany, the son of Andrew and Hildegarde (Janzen) Schwarz. He was a World War II Army veteran. Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth (Franz), whom he married June 28, 1947, at St. Mary's church, McHenty ; also a son, Andrew, of Dunn, Nv£. , three brothers, Nick of Menomenee Falls, Otto of West Allis, Wi., and Emil of Las Vegas. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Patrick's Catholic church at 10 a.m. Nov. 2. Interment was in St. Patrick's church yard cemetery. MARY K. NIMSGERN Mary K. Nimsgern, 90 of 2314 Hatchery road, Spring Grove, died Oct. 31 at the Harvard Rest home. The deceased was born Jan. 26, 1886, in Chicago, the daughter of Mathias and Regeina (Reinhardt) Pittges. Mrs. Nimsgern was a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Peter's church. Her husband, Mathias, preceded her in death Feb. 9, 1965. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Lucille) Jordan, Clinton, Wi., and Mrs. Robert (Bernice) Lent, Spring Grove; 2 sons, Arthur of spring Grove and Lawrence of McHenry; sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Four brothers and 2 sisters preceded her in death. Visitation was scheduled from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Peter M. Justen funeral home. A funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic church. Spring Grove. Interment will be in the church cemetery. HOWARD J. GERTIG Howard J. Gertig, 62, Route 1, Cary, died Friday, Oct. 29, in Woodstock Memorial hospital. He was the brother of Mrs. Steve (Geraldine) Vrbik, and stepson of Mrs. Frances^ Schleich, both of McHenry. Mr. Gertig, a retired postal clerk, was the son of William and Frieda (Sawicki) Gertig. On April 21, 1945, he was married to Alice Khlisz who survives. Mr. Gertig also leaves a son, William, of Schaumburg; two daughters, Susan and Carol Gertig, both living at home; and a grand daughter, Patricia Gertig, of Schaumburg. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Kahle funeral home, Cary, with the Rev. Fr. Andrew Plesa, pastor of St Peter and Paul church, officiating. Burial was in St. John's cemetery, Fox River Grove. MICHAEL DRUML Michael Druml, 77, of Brice Route, Lebanon, Mo., died Oct. 21 at the Veterans hospital in Columbia, Mo., and was in terred at Mt. Rose Memorial Park, Lebanon, Oct. 24. Mr. and Mrs. Druml resided in Wonder Lake from 1939 until a year and a half ago, when they moved to Lebanon. The deceased was a retired tool and die maker. His offiliations included the American Legion, Barracks World War I, and VFW., McHenry. „ Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth (Kuri); two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy A. Bruscato and Mrs. William (Elizabeth) L. Kamp, all of Lebanon; a son, Edward, of McHenry; two brothers, John of Milwaukee, Wi., and Tony of Sheboygan, Wi.; a sister, Theresa Kuglitsch of Delavan, Wi.; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kattner was born July 3, 1912, in Chicago, the daughter of Frank and Julia Wisniewski. She was married to Arnold Kattner May 29, 1943, in Spring Grove. Mrs. Kattner is survived by her husband; three sons, Richard, Edward and Eugene, all of Spring Grove; one grandson and one sister, Mrs. Helen Carnick, of Gurnee.
