A son was born, Nov. 1 to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Montreal of Wonder Lake. HOSPITAL NOTES MODELS IN THE MAKING - Carol Wills is showing Denise Wiles, seated on ladder, Christine Wenks and Jennifer Wills some of the fashions these young models will be wearing at a style show to be sponsored by the Valley View Neighborhood Girl Scouts Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. at the V.F.W. hall. Mothers and girls alike will enjoy seeing Girl Scouts and leaders modeling clothes from the Fashion Shoppe and the Toddler Shop. Dessert and coffee will be served during the show. Each year approximately $8 per girl must be raised to keep the Girl Scout organization functioning in McHenry, and proceeds from this show will go into the Girl Scout fund drive. The public is invited and tickets will be available at the door. \ Aurora Woman To Speak Before Christian Women Judy Dryden of Aurora will be guest speaker when the McHenry County Christian Women's club holds a luncheon at Martinetti 's restaurant, Crystal Lake, Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 12:15 to 2:15. Mrs. Dryden is the mother of five (kindergarten through college), a writer and painter. A special feature of her program will be Linnea's Creative Design Quilting. Music will be furnished by Laila Wilson of Woodstock. Reservations should be made by calling Mrs. Warren Monahan. Cancellations are necessary A free nursery will be provided. Auxiliary Notes From V.F.W. *••••••••••••••• Mrs. Patricia Essington, president of the Ladies Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of Illinois will be the guest of honor at a luncheon to be held Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Ramada O'Hare inn located in Rosemont. The annual department president's luncheon will be hosted by the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Six­ teenth districts. The Fox River Ladies auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4600 of McHenry will be represented by Mary Amore, senior vice- president; Barbara Bryniarski, conductress; I la Hogan, treasurer and Gerry Kuck, secretary, at the luncheon. Deaths ALBERT R.MULLERE Pastor Ralphs Smith of­ ficiated at funeral services held at the First United Methodist church, McHenry, Thursday, at 11 a.m. for Albert R. Mullere, H4, of McHenry. Burial was in Woodland cemetery, McHenry. Mr. Mullere, of 2807 N. Wooded Lane, McHenry, died Monday Nov. 1, at McHenry hospital. He was born in Chicago Oct. 28, 1892, son of Paul and Jeanne (Cherbuy) Mullere and lived in McHenry for twelve years as a summer resident and for the past twenty-three years per­ manently. The deceased was a retired leather craftsman and worked for the Monastery Bindery Co. in Chicago. He was a member of the Friendship club of the First United Methodist church. Survivors include his wife, Marie, nee Westberg, whom he married May 18, 1916 at Crown Point, In. The couple celebrated their sixtieth an­ niversary last May. Also surviving are several nieces and nehphews. Three brothers and four sisters preceded him in death. EUGENE J. PIOTROWSKI Eugene J. Piotrowski. 58, 4613 W. McCullom Lake road. Roberts, John E. Friedland, Yvonne J. Hinger, Michael Straley, Robert B. Haralson, Robert L. Myers, Doris J. Decker, John F. Rudolph, Paul A. Drogosz, Sawa Jacobchuck, Caristian Henricks, Michael J. Leisten, John Tolomeo, Carol Justen, Terry A. Englert, Ethel L. Hintz, Clara M. Kalck, Marie Berkley, all of McHenry; Herbert Hawkins, Edward J. Marczyk, Darlene L. Lb- vendoski. Wonder Lake; Michael P. Graser, Harry K. Halma, Helen Teldy, Spring Grove; and Lucy Cicero and Carleen Dagenais, Island Lake. McHenry, died Nov. 2, 1976 at an Elgin area hospital. He was born in Chicago March 8, 1918, the son of An­ thony and Marie (Berchman) Piotrowski. Mr. Piotrowski was employed as a truck driver for the State of Illinois The deceased is survived by his wife, Lottie, whom he married thirty-seven years ago on June 29? 1939, in Chicago; three daughters, Mrs. Lester (Phyllis) Venable, Miss Dolores Piotrowski and Miss Diane Valentine, all of Mc­ Cullom Lake; a brother, Ronald of Chicago, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson and a son-in-law, Dennis Straumann. Visitation was scheduled for Thursday, from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral services include a Mass of the Resurrection at St. Patrick's church, McHenry, Friday, at 10 a.m., with in­ terment in St. Patrick's churchyard cemetery.
