LAl'BER Arrangements were in-' complete at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home at press time for Henry W. Lauber of 2822 Lincoln road. Mr. Lauber died at his home Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the age of 78. Amorig survivors are a sister, Esther Faulkner of Oklahoma City, Ok. His wife, Irene C. Lauber, preceded him in death Sept. 30, 1963. MARIE I). CREASEY A resident. of the McHenry area for the past nine years, Marie Creasey, died Monday, Nov. 29, at the Westside Veterans Administration hospital, Chicago, at the age of 57. Mrs. Creasey was born in South Huntingdon, Pa., April 27,1919, the daughter of Paul J. and Anna Dorechak. The deceased was a practical nurse at Downey Veterans hospital and a former member of the W.A.C.'s. Survivors include a son, Joseph P. Creasey, of Chicago; Ben Franklin The West campus madrigal singers will present their an­ nual madrigal dinners Dec. 11 and Dec. 12 in the West campus cafeteria. Thetheme this year, is 1776, and Dr. Ben Franklin will be hosting the gala party. All of the music of the period will be performed by the singers, and a brass group and a recorder consort will per" form. The menu will consist of Wassail cup, roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, and cherries jubilee. Guests at the dinner will include Patrick Henry, Henry Lee, Thomas Paine, George and Martha Washington,, Betsy Ross, Robert Morris, and many others. The dinner and concert is sure to touch a sentimetnal note for both patriotism and the celebration of Christmas. Tickets for the dinner will be available through members of the West campus chorus, or a daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Mary Jon) Hallaway, of Rosemount, Mn , and three grandchildren. Visitation was scheduled for 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home. Pastor Roger W. CLEP Exams At College An opportunity to earn college credits by taking an examination will be offered at McHenry County college Dec 4 and 11. As many as 30 semester hours of college credit can be • earned by taking the examinations which are part of the College Level Examination Program (CLEP"). Credits can be earned in five subject areas at the two Saturday se&ions: Examinations will test general knowledge in English, humanities, social science (history), mathematics and natural science. As many as six semester credits can be earned by taking the one hour exam in any one subject. The exams are open to anyone regardless of whether he-she is currently enrolled in a college. Veterans currently enrolled in college under the Illinois Veterans scholarship may take the examinations free of charge. Tests on Dec. 4 and 11 will begin at 8 a.m. in Room 152 of the MCC Main Hall building on the college campus at Route 14 'and Lucas road, Crystal Lake.
