Senior Sewers View Samples Of Needlework At the Nov. 22 meeting of the McHenry Senior Citizens club with 180 members in at tendance, Mrs. Alice Wilke, reported receiving many let ters of response from the various nursing homes and old people's homes where the group has given them some of the very needed items. Mrs. Wilke advises that there are twenty-one women actively involved in the Sewing group, which meets the third Thur sday of each month at ther home. She also brought some samples of their work showing lap robes and bibs. Some of the homes furnish the toweling for the bibs; however, good used towels can be used in making them.
