for the comfort of Spr ing in your home, al l winter lonq. HOMES Like so many others, we set our dial for the much ballyhooed Evel Knievel shew Monday night -- wondering if those sharks were hungry. As you know, Evel was in jured in a practice run and landed in a hospital instead of the pool of sharks. That program has to rate as one of the poorest on our list. Telly Savalas was out of character. Maybe the Greeks have a name for it. And Jill St. John'.;- Holy Hector - She put up quite a front, but screeched through her lines like a hen when a hawk soars over the chicken yard. Evel should retire. He has broken enough bones. Now. he has broken the hearts of many who must have wanted to see him battle the sharks. Oh -- they didn't wish him any harm. Would like to have seen the Broncos of Barrington when they came to town last Saturday night. From all reports, our Warriors deserve credit for staying with the big team Now I believe everything. Bobby Orr and Dennis Hull feel they aren't earning their money on the Black Hawk hockey team and are willing to renegotiate -- downward. In most cases where an athlete has one good year on a three year contract he wants the owner to tear up the con tract and up the ante. Do you think those athletes would want to give some cash back after a poor year? Don't answer. Since JoAnn Hutchinson came onto the scene to help our Little Helen set type, it has been great for your sports department. Now we can run details on various sports such as wrestling and swimming. It takes longer to set that type than it does to run off the straight copy Like painting your house -- the flat siding goes fast. When you get to the trim, your time gets away. Now comes a calorie control weekend. The McHenry Hospital annual dinner comes Saturday night. Sunday brings the annual roast beef dinner at the Zion Lutheran church.
