Chapter 14 of the Municipal Code, City of McHenry, Illinois, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following Section 7.1: SECTrON 7.1 Minimum Floor Space Requirements. Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall be Dumshed by a fine of not more than $500.00, and each day any violation shall continue constitutes a separate offense. SECTION 3. WHEREAS, the Village Board of the Village of McHenry Shores did, on the 7th day of April. 1976, pass an ordinance amending certain portions of the Building Code of said Village and; WHEREAS, said amendment did permit the issuance of a temporary occupancy permit for certain buildings and portions thereof, and; WHEREAS, subsequent to the passage of said ordinance it has become apparent that the issuance of said permits has created and continues to create an additional financial burden upon the Village due to in­ creased demands upon the Building Department. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of McHenry Shores, that in order to defray these additional expenditures, the Building code of McHenry Shores, as amended, be further amended as follows: , ARTICLE I That there be added to Ordinance No. 2.9 immediately following Section I, two new sections known as Section IA and Section IB. which shall read as follows: Section IA: No temporary occupancy permit shall be issued pursuant to the preceding section until the applicant therefore shall have paid a fee in an amount equal to one-half ('-) of the building permit fee. This fee shall be non-refundable and shall be in addition to the fee paid for a building permit. Section IB: The temporary occupancy permit issued pursuant to these Sections sh^ll inure only to the benefit of the original applicant and shall be non-transferable. In the event the applicant should sell the remises prior to receiving a inal occupancy permit, the temporary permit previously issued shall become null and void. Fi1 ARTICLE II All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
