In addition to a feast for the body, the girls put on a per formance for the soul by singing and dancing, to delight the appreciate dads. It was an enjoyable evening for both lathers and daughters. BIRTHDAY GIRLS " Sweet fifteen and never been kissed. Sue Mahon, celebrated with a birthday party to end all birthday parties -- to date. Sharing all the happiness and memories were Noreen DeWitt, Cathy Hoglund, Chris and Cathy Szamlewski and Kelly Wegener, alone with the ever present fellas; Randy Jone§ Jim Vesely, Jeff Vesely. Kim Brewer and Glenn Smelark. A pizza place was the gathering spot for J.ill Hoglund's eighth birthday. With good friends, Debbie and Lori Holtz, as well as sister, Kris, brothers Ray and Eric and mom and dad, they all managed to devour five pizzas, and two pitchers of drinks. Balloons were passed out and bibs that protected from the extra, gooey, drippy pies. After all this, there was still room for chocolate cake and ice cream. It was a fun evening, especially for Jill. GET WELL SOON To Karen Thietje, now home after minor surgery. She is doing well and recovering nicely, and to Cathy who will never be a champion skateboarder. We're told broken bones heal quickly. RUMMAGE SALE Our family wishes to acknowledge the concern and help we received from the Lakes Region Rescue squad when our daughter was injured. We are personally dedicating all our usable trash and white elephants to their rummage sale to be held at the Congregational church in Island Lake April 2. You too can show you care and con tribute to this worthy cause. SCHOOL DAZE Cookies with that home town taste? Mrs. Les and her fourth grade class got more than just a taste when they went on a tour of the Salerno Cookie plant of Niles. The kids learned first hand just how the luscious treats are produced and even got to take home the samples. Kids from Holiday Hills who enjoyed the day were Leroy Beltz, Becky Lonergan, and Lisa Quilico. PETER COTTONTAIL RIDES Just a reminder that Easter is just around the corner and so is your chance to meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy a basketfull of goodies. The bunny will hop down Sunset drive to his Holiday Hills headquarters where he will meet and greet all his little friends from 12 to 3 p.m., April 2. See you there. CORRECTIONS Our humble apologies to Miss Janice Novak who is now Mrs. John Olson. We are sorry about the name mixup, and a correction that the board will hold a special meeting April 7 instead of March 31 as repor ted.
