Heyward Retires From Illinois Bell as a station installer. He held various assignments in the company's plant department in Waukegan, Arlington Heights and Woodstock before coming to McHenry in 1964. During World War II Heyward served with the U.S. Army as an electronics in­ structor at Bell Laboratories from 1943 to 1946. He's a member and past master of Lodge No. 154 AF&AM and secretary of the Woodstock Flying club. He is a former president and present publicity chairman of Sinnissippi council, Telephone Pioneers of America and environmental chairman of the organization's Theodore N. Vail State chapter. Heyward and his wife, Genevieve, live at 1204 North Riverside drive. They have a son, Edward R., of Shabbona, and a grandson, Edward S. •WARD HEYWARD . ird S.
