Bux, the son of Michael A. Bux, Sr.. of Elm wood Park, was graduated from Elmwood Park high school in 1967 and took his degree in radiologic technology from Triton college in 1975. Dewey Lytle. R.T. RT (ARRT) is the university-appointed faculty member who is correlating the hospital ex­ perience with the University's administrative curriculum. Bux is also assigned to a clerkship in clinical radiologic technology, studying under the supervision of radiologist Hayim Rodrik, M.D , chairman of the radiology department, and radiologist James Neis, M.D.. his associate.* The Veterans administration employs 5 per cent of all physicians in the United States. Some 185.000 veterans receive medical care daily in a Veterans Administration hospital, outpatient clinic, nursing home or domiciliary. Big Turnout Many persons participated in the Sew It All \jp sewing clinic. Everyone attending found the stations and demonstrations very informative. An apology is extended to those who tried to find it. The location of the clinic was changed and held at Woodstock high school. Demonstration McHenry county 4-H youths recently competed in the General and Horticulture Demonstration contest. The activity began at 7:30 p.m. and was held in the Farm bureau auditorium. The public was invited to attend this event. Several of the titles of the Demonstrations were: "All Bound Up", "Which Way With the American Flag" and "When Parallel Lines Aren't Parallel Lines". Camp Dates McHenry county will be camping at White Eagle 4-H camp from June 27 to July 1. There are five main activity areas from which campers may choose things to do throughout the day. The swimming pool is one of the most popular areas of the camp. Water volleyball, swimming lessons and free- swims keep the pool in use throughout the day. Boating and canoeing provide hours of fun as cam­ pers learn boat safety, and rowing and paddling skills. The other activity areas are arts* and crafts, nature, and VM N • Paint Sale. In the evenings, campers might enjoy a campfire, late swim, dance, skits, or a scavenger hunt White Eagle 4-H camp is located in Ogle county. Cam­ pers live in cabins and enjoy family-style meals in the dining hall. ; Leadership is provided by the camp staff, volunteer coun­ selors, and extension advisers from McHenry county. There is also in­ formation on Teen Camp and Family Camp. NFL "Official" Appearnace The second day of the 1977 state 4-H conference will be highlighted by guest speaker. Art Hoist, who is a National Football league (NFL) official. He has been applauded by thousands and booed by millions across the country while using his judgment as a professional football official. He will speak on winning and losing in sports and compare daily teenage situations to his NFL experiences. Other activities during the day will include individual and team competition at the In­ tramural Physical Education building and a tour of the facilities. Conference participants will attend an evening banquet to recognize donors to the Illinois foundation. Krannert Center for the Performing Arts will be the site for an evening of entertainment Plan now to attend this exciting conference at the University of Illinois from June 21 to 24. 4-H'ers between the ages of fourteen and nineteen may apply by contacting the McHenry county Extension office.
