Cuda and Rudy Otth while Tim Martin and Lefty Kern beat Dick Warfield and J. Nolan. The final matches of the 2 man aggregate tournament will be played at the club on Sunday, May 21 and should prove very interesting as all players are great competitors especially in match play. Elected as new President is Randy Donke of Pistakee Highlands, Vice-President is Ron Callahan of McHenry, Tresurer is Berne Clary of Pistakee Hills, Lois Rudolph of Antioch was reelected as Secretary. The new officers replace Bill Koch, President; Joyce Callahn, Treasurer; and Bob Hopp as Vice-President. Barry "The Bear" Paulsen was in complete control for the Warriors, as a misjudged fly ball was the only Bronco hit for the day. Meanwhile the Warriors attacked three Bronco hurlers for the tune of 11 runs and 11 hits. Rogers, Adams, Mai and Paulsen all had two hits for the Warriors. Regatta on Sunday, June 5th. The Butterfly is a relatively new sailboat on the racing scene, but is growing rapidly in popularity due to is mobility, ease of handling and big boat sailing characteristics. 80 boats from throughout the area are expected to be at the Pistakee Yacht Club, Rocky Beach road, McHenry, to start racing at 10 a.m. sharp on Pistakee Bay. The regatta is open to all Butterfly owners in both the single and doubles divisions (doubles must weight 250 pounds). Trophies will be awarded to the first 5 places in both the single and double divisions with a "Best Junior" trophy going to the top junior in the singles diyision. The annual event is given in appreciation of the numerous landowners which allow the use of their land for snowmobile trails. As a added highlight to the event the Polar Pairs awarded the 4th annual "Dick Rudolph Memorial Award" to Alby Adams for his outstanding contribution in promoting good will in snowmobiling. Past recipents of this award have been the Harmony Snowmobile Club for their efforts in spon­ soring the Rescue 50 Snowmobile ride which raises donations for area rescue sguads. Sheriff Art Tyrrell for Safety education in snowmobiling and Ross Courtemash for his outstanding contributions to the com­ munity. It took a lot of ringing to get him up One morn I had to recruit Charlie Frett to go over and pound on his door.
