The story is concerned with the religious mass hysteria which swept that New England colony at the end of the seventeenth century. At that time hundreds of people, chiefly women, were put to death for the supposed crime of witchcraft. The play centers on John Proctor, played by Bruce Berger from McHenry, his wife Elizabeth (Tricia Schaefer), and her accuser, Abigail Williams (Laura Krah). Health Systems Agency To Hold Board Meeting The Health Systems agency for Kane, Lake and McHenry Counties, Inc., will be holding its regular board of directors meeting Thursday, May 26, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Corporate office, 400 South Old Rand road, Lake Zurich. The Health Systems agency has been designated by the Department of Health, Education and Welfare to provide health planning ser­ vices for the residents of Kane, Lake and McHenry counites. Area residents are encouraged to attend meetings and par­ ticipate in agency activities.
