Zeller, received an Associate of Arts degree from the Junior college division of New Mexico military institute, Roswell, in ceremonies held on campus Saturday, May 14, at which 249 cadets received A.A. degrees or high school diplomas. As a member of this year's graduating class, Cadet Zeller participated in the institute's traditional final week ac tivities, which are n^ed for their military pomp «and cir cumstance as well ias for their emphasis on, academic achievement. Highlights of commencement week included ROTC and academic scholarship awards assembly, the final ball, a final review and parade of the year, and the final formation on Saturday morning for commencement exercises. Cadet Zeller, the son of Mr and Mrs. Kenneth G. Zeller/ Jr., of 702 South Route 31, is a Bronco basketball star, having received the Rebounds award, the Best Defensive Player award, letter and'plaque, and the Advanced Physical Fitness Test award. Zeller was named to the Commandant's list. Academic Excellence Recognized Local area students have been named to the Illinois State university Dean's list for having achieved grade point averages that placed them in the top ten percent of their respective colleges.
