Crystal Lake, blessed the union of Debra Rudolph and Robert Zientek. Jr. At the altar decorated with daisies, car­ nations and mums, marital promises were exchanged between the daughter of Mrs. .Dariene Rudolph of Richmond and Russell Rudolph of Antioch and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Zientek. Sr. of Crystal Lake. The Rev John Holden of­ ficiated at the 5:30 p.m. •ceremony. "Love Story", ""Sometimes" and "Theme . From Romeo and Juliet" were -the musical selections of the couple. . The bridal gown was fashioned of nylon chiffon with ^a sweetheart neckline, fitted sleeves, a cathedral length train and trimmed with Vic­ torian lace encrusted with pearls. She wore a fingertip length veil edged in lace with a 1 Venice lace headpiece en­ crusted with pearls. The bride's aunt, Dolores Harris of Richmond, attended ^ as maid of honor * with . bridesmaids consisting pf Joan Kopsell and Karen Zientek, the -groom's sister, both of Crystal I Lake and Luann Rudolph, the ; bride s cousin, and Colleen 1 Miller, both of McHenry. A * cousin of the bride, Leslie I Harris of Richmond, was * flower girl. ' The attendants were gowned . in t,reen knit floor length halter style dresses with floral print ' full length capes. Randy Nellis of Island Lake was best man to the groom with Mike Schiavone of McHenry, Gary Miller and Ron Rudolph of Richmond acting as groomsmen. Mrs. Rudolph wore a green floor length gown with a matching lace jacket while the groom's mother chose a pink floor length gown with a pink floral cape. The American Legion hall of McHenry was the scene for a reception with 180 guests greeting the bridal couple. Residency in the Garden Quarter apartments, McHenry, will follow a honeymoon trip to the Ozarks and St. Louis, Mo. The bride is a 1974 graduate of Richmond-Burton high school and is a receptionist at Trac, Inc. of Richmond. The groom graduated in 1973 from Crystal Lake high school and is a salesman for Gunter's in Crystal Lake. Each attended McHenry County college for one year. RBHS Alumni Dinner Dance Tickets for the annual Rich­ mond-Burton Community high school Alumni association dinner dance are available for all RBCHS alumni and guests by calling Loren Miller at 678- 6691. The event will be held Saturday evening, July 9, at Andre's Steak house in Rich­ mond. There will be a cocktail hour beginning at 6:30 followed by dinner at 7:30 and dancing at 9. GREEN ST., MCHENRY 385-3120 f Museum Spinning Wheel <s> Demonstration June 12 A demonstration on spinning will be given by Mrs. Dorothy Muench. of Marengo, using her Australian wheel, at the annual meeting of the McHenry County Historical society Sunday. June 12. at 2 p.m. at the museum in Union. Members will note yellow plastic chains set in green concrete posts to protect some of the non-touchable displays. These were provided by the Kiwanisclubof Woodstock. Mr. C.W. Coons who was the project chairman stated that all materials were either donated or provided at cost by area firms. Kiwanians Lloyd Church and Robert Lange used their trucks to transport all materials to the work sites and museum and Kiwanians and their families put in about seventy-five man hours on the project. Dues were payable as of June 1 Anyone wishing to join the society in its endeavor to preserve the history and ar­ tifacts of McHenry county are welcome to become members at this meeting. It is open to the public. Mothers Of Twins To Meet At St. Paul's Double Dilemma Mothers of Twins club will meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 14 at St. Paul's church, 485 Woodstock street. Crystal Lake. This month's guest speaker is Chris Weisenberger, who will give a slide presentation on the birth to three group at Pioneer Center for the Exceptional. The club is open to all mothers with multiple birth children. Come enjoy a night out with other mothers who share the unique experience of having twins. CATHY SCHMALING BRUCE BAUER WEDDING PLANNED-Mr. and Mrs. Norman Schmaling of McHenry announce the engagement of their daughter, Cathy, to Bruce Bauer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Bauer, also of McHenry. Cathy and Bruce are both 1975 graduates of McHenry Community high school. Cathy is employed in McHenry while Bruce is presently working with his father in the family business. A May, 1978, wedding is being planned. '*9 to Honeymoon Trip To Hawaii For June Newlyweds Ronald and Madge (Cecka) Diedrich chose Hawaii as their h o n e y m o o n d e s t i n a t i o n following their marriage Saturday, June 4, in Zion Lutheran church at 4 o'clock before the Rev. Herman Graef. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Cecka of Chicago and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Leo Diedrich of Johnsburg. The altar of the church was decorated with white flowers and Alan Cook offered solo selections of "Wedding Song", "OnelHand, One Heart" and "Whittier Thou Goest". The bride wore a fitted white silk gown with long chiffon sleeves, a round neckline, detachable train, and trimmed with blue and white flowers. She had borrowed it from a friend. Marilyn Leber. A cascading bouquet of white roses and stephanotis was carried. Caryn Cecka of Danville, 111. was selected as maid of honor. Kim Diedrich and Rosalie Hauck. both of McHenry, Pat Bingman of Burlington, Wis. and Chris Collett of Crystal Lake acted as bridesmaids. Each wore a gown of blue Qiana with long sleeves and fitted bodices and carried white daisies and baby's breath. The best man duties were handled by John Mudzianowski of McHenry. Groomsmen were Kevin Diedrich of McHenry; Larry and Dave Cecka, both of .Chicago and Tim Huffar of Woodstock. Dave Cecka and Tim Huffar also served as ushers. Mrs. Cecka was attired in a pink chiffon dress with a floral print detachable cape while the groom's mother chose a floor length gown of bright pink. A blue levi jeep provided transportation for the bridal couple to the Johnsburg Community club for a reception where approximately 300 guests greeted the newlyweds. After two weeks in Hawaii, the couple will make their home in McHenry. The bride is a graduate of Bogan high school. South Chicago, and received a B.S in Education from Eastern Illinois university. She is a teacher in the Johnsburg school district. The groom is a McHenry Community high school graduate and is em­ ployed as an electrician for Morton Chemical. Eugene Baumhofer, who had also christened Julie's father, officiated at the ceremony at St. Mary's Catholic church. Acting as godparents were Mary Meyer and Joseph Meyer. The baby's grand­ parents are Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meyer and Florence Minikowski, all of McHenry. Julie was born in McHenry hospital, Monday, May 16.
