There could have been several more. In the midst of all the confusion, traffic congestion, lane blockage, dctouring of traffic, I observed several kids on bicycles weaving all over the road, riding on both sides of the road at the same time, (a normal every day occurrence around here). All of these are against the law in this state. If you read the Bicycle Rules of the Road published by the Secretary of State'a office yoty would know this. I also aaw a kid on a skate board heading south in the north bound lane of traffic. He dismounted after our fire chief ordered him off the board. "Monday evening, July 25, at approximately 9 to 9:15 p.m., of this very nervous neigh! again heard the tires. Everyone flew out front doors to see if our rescue squad was needed. A car had to throw out the anchor to avoid hitting small children, at least four, on bikes, in the dark. These kids were on both sides of the road and weaving all over. None of the bikes had any type of lights o{ reflectors on them. "I've seen young adult and adult cyclists pull the same stupid stunts on our roads. By the way, pedestrians aren't any better. "What does it take to alert you cyclists and parents to the fact that bikes are not toya to be misused and abused on public and private roada? Teach your Idds the proper use of their bikes, follow through and make sure they obey the Rules of the Road. Teach yourselves, too. If your kids own a skate board keep them off the roada. They don't belong there anymore than mini-bikes do. "I would like to add further comments regarding Sunday's accident. I don't know where all the morbid sight-seeing ghouls came from but they sure turned out by the carloads. Why don't you get your jollies elsewhere instead of hampering the ef forts of our police and sheriff's department, fire and rescue squads! .> V / "A concerned and caring motorist, "(Mrs.) Terry Klintworth "4907 East Wonder Lake Road "Wonder Lake" Logal Notice NOTICE Public Notice is hereby given that on July 21st, A.D. 1977, a certificate was filed in the Office of the County Clerk of McHenry County, Illinois, setting forth the names and post-office addresses of all of the persons owning, conducting and transacting the business known as CARE REAL ESTATE, located at 9717 W.
