Would you like tr> spend one or two nights lear ning crafts, firearm safety or auto repairs, but do not have the time or interest to spend eight or ten weeks attending a regular course? If the answer is "yes", Mc Henry County college wants to hear from you. Rebecca Strong, coordinator of seminars and workshops at MCC, is looking for ideas for seminars that area residents would like to attend. The College created the position this summer to expand workshops and seminars and to help organizations in the county. Mrs. Strong said that in addition to the more than thirty seminars and workshops listed in the MCC fall adult education schedule there will be other seminars added this fall. For example, planning is under way to conduct a theatre workshop to teach lighting techniques and set production to people active in local theatre groups ° The college is also working with Chafftbers of Commerce in the«eoiinty to plan a seminar on "Alcoholism in the Workplace" to help business owners cope with the problem of employees who are alcoholics. MCC also hopes to offer sessions in art for children on Saturdays and craft classes for adults under the seminar format. Mrs Strong will also help organizations that are already operative on a local level to cooperate on a county-wide basis. For example, the college foresees a seminar for a new group--the McHenry County ^ NOTE-To Whom It May Concern ^ DAVENPORTS AND CHAIRS SEYMOURS FURNITURE HOSPITAL "SINCE WS" Reservations Only Broken Lefs and Arms Reset Sprained Backs and Seats Rewebbed Loose Joints Reglued Hydes Re-tightened Are Your Cushions Flat? However, Mort Schultz, auto repair consultant to Popular Mechanics maga zine, has an easy remedy for the reservoirs that have the outlet to the windshield noz zles through the cap on top: simply line the cracked tank with a regular household plastic storage bag, fold it - over the too of the tank, and snap on the cover. The bag will hold the fluid, and the reservoir, even cracked, will support the bag. **• Space shuttle Enterprise makes graceful solo. Blouses with draw strings at the neckline are popular.
