Sunday School Rally Pictured above are Ronald Kot, Parish Education chairman; Pariah Worker Kristin Stuhr and Erv Staveteig, Sunday School superintendent, planning for Sunday School Rally day at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church. It is back to Sunday School at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church, 404 N. Green street, McHenry, where they are conducting their fall roundup of Sunday School students this coming weekend. Members of the congregation will sing familiar Sunday School hymns at' their worship services. Teachers will be installed and boys and girls will receive special attention. This fall's program will feature singing and worship experience as well as classroom time. Teachers who have accepted the call of teaching of the Saturday evening school are Terri Franklin, Mary Lou Nielsen, Ann O'Donnell, Donna Haack and Martha Finkbeiner. Saturday evening school will begin at 5:40 and continue until 6:30 p.m. Teachers for the 9:20 Sunday School are Berdie Bergdahl, Leith Honning, Laurie Kohl, Beth Johnson, Audrey Panning, Linda Panning, Alice Ort, Helen Kot, Susan Mohnen, Carol Nelson, Lynn Lund, Mary Gaylord, Jim Boyd and Walter Johnson. Claire L. Koehler, 2916 Bull Valley road, McHenry, had a charge of driving while in­ toxicated amended to reckless driving. On the lesser charge, he pled guilty and was fined $50 and costs, admitted to the DWI project, and placed on three months probation. He was then not prosecuted on a charge of improper lane usage. Esther M. Kipp, 3202 Greenleaf, Wonder Lake, pled guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated, and was fined $300 and costs and placed on six months probation. She was not prosecuted on a charge of improper lane usage. Dale Adams, 3706 Clover, McHenry, was found not guilty on a charge of unlawful sale of alcoholic liquor to a minor. Craig P. Ackerman, 4804 Rt. 31, Ringwood, was found not guilty of retail theft under $150. Rodney W. Ackerman, 4705 Ringwood road, Ringwood, was found not guilty of retail theft under $150. / Micky W. Lively, 2608 Forest wood, McHenry, pled guilty to a charge of unlawful possession of alcoholic liquor, and was fined $10 and placed on two months supervision. • Associate Circuit Judge Leonard Brody Brent T. Smith, 8617 W. Sunset, Wonder Lake, had a charge of battery amended to disorderly conduct. On the lesser charge, he pled guilty and was fined $25 and costs. Timothy J. Lamz, 4216 W. South, McHenry, negotiated guilty to a charge of unlawful possession of cannabis, and was placed on six months probation. Steven D. Flick, 1308 S. Lily Lake road, McHenry, was found guilty of disord conduct, and was fined $100 an< costs. Joseph V. Smola, 3011 Michael street, Wonder Lake, was found guilty of disorderly conduct, and was fined $25 and costs. He was also found guilt; of resisting a peace officer, and was fined another $50 and costs. BRANCH III Valerie J. Grant, 1712 W. Ringwood road, McHenry, was found guilty of speeding 50 in a 35 mph zone, and was fined $25 and costs. Jeffrey A. Naber, 4J18 Ridgeway, Ringwood, was found guilty of disobeying a 'no passing' zone, and was fined $25 and placed on ninety-day supervision. Ann V. Luciano Jr., 2904 Michael, Wonder Lake, negotiated a guilty plea to a charge of speeding 69 in a 40 mph zone, and was fined $50, placed on ninety-day vision. C. Parisi, 5219 W. Shore drive, McHenry, was found guilty of having an in­ valid driver's license due to curfew, and was fined $15 and costs. Donald B. Rippetoe, 5005 W. Rt. 120, McHenry, negotiated a guilty plea to a charge of disobeying a stop sign, and was fined $25 and placed on ninety- day supervision. Complaints Deputy Sheriff Glenn C. Olsen charges that on Aug. 26, Michael J. Shannon, 3717 Hamlin drive, McHenry, committed the offense of disorderly conduct, in that he knowingly refused to cooperate, with rescue squad members who were called to assist him, pounded his head against the wall and screamed for help, then shouted obscentities at people in the residence in such an unreasonable manner as to alarm and disturb Betty J. Stamsta, one of the people in the residence, and provoke a breach of the peace. Bond was set at $25 for an Oct. 11 court appearance. Officer Kenneth Prazak of the McHenry Police depart­ ment charges that on Aug. 31, Lawrence M. Braidman, 3304 W. Third avenue, McHenry, committed the offense of purchase, acceptance, possession or consumption of alcoholic liquor by a person of non-age, in that he did, on Aug. 31, willfully, unlawfully, and knowingly purchase, accept, PAGE 5 • PLAINDE ALER • consume, or had in his possession, part of an alcoholic liquor, knowing at the time he was a minor person under the legal age of nineteen years. No bond wasset for a Sept. 28 court appearance. Officer Kenneth Prazak of the McHenry Police depart­ ment charges that on Aug. 31, Glenn L. Strand, 7214 Delaware road, Wonder Lake, comitted the offense of purchase, ac­ ceptance, possession, or con­ sumption of alcoholic liquor by a person of non-age, in that he did, on Aug. 31, willfully, unlawfully, and knowingly purchase, accept, consume, or had in his possession, part of an alcoholic liquor, knowing at the time he was a minor person under the legal age of nineteen years. No bond was set for a Sept. 28 court appearance. James G. Haagenson, Hebron, charges that on July 11, Kenneth Scott Pedretti, 2801 Michael, Wonder Lake, com­ mitted the offense of criminal trespass to a motor vehicle, in that he did, knowingly and without authority, enter a motor vehicle of James G.
