NEW FACES In NEW PLACES (In an effort to keep our readers informed as to who's moving in "across the street, next door or down the block", the Plaindealer will publish, as they become available, the names of our town's newest residents. The Plaindealer extends a "Welcome" to these newcomers and hopes the reader, as a neighbor, will do the same.) The new McHenry development, Waters Edge, finds dwellings rapidly becoming occupied. Former Des Plaines residents found the area appealing with Jeanne M. Hansen at 605A Waters Edge! and William and Betty Berndt at 603B Waters Edge. Other Waters Edge residents include Arthur and Helen Sporka from Crystal Lake at 603C and, from Hanover Park, Lou and Eleanor Johannsen at 603N. Lakeland Park subdivision can boast of a considerable increase in population in the past two months. Parkway avenue offers a contrast in distances with Larry and Ann Lauer at 4309 Parkway from as far away as New York, NY, and Ron and Kristi Aldridge at 4221 Parkway from as close as Crystal Lake. From Chicago are James and Joyce Bonea at 1701 Meadow lane, along with their two children, Jennifer and Tim and the Creasey family, Joe, Linda, Theresa and Pat, at 4809 W. Prairie. The house at 4806 Willow met the requirements of Chicago Heights residents, Richard and Millie Eyelander and their three daughter*, Gayle, 15, Linda, * 13, and Brenda, 12. A move in July brought Paul and Janet Robbins and sons, Jeffrey and Stephen, from Laurinberg, NC, to the home at 1903 Beach. From the northern part of the map, Milwaukee, Wis., are Theophilus and >lores Putt and a son, Robert, ley chose the house at 4504 Home avenue. Two families should be fairly comfortable in their home since moves during the month of June. Steve and Kathleen Pool brought their two daughters, Tracy and Heidi, from Streamwood to 1709 Meadow June 25. Just a few days before, Laura and Jeffrey, along with their parents, Leon and Kathy Martin, left Park Ridge and moved into the home at 4808 Prairie. Lush Lime, Mint Julep Full Of Protein Power Milk to the rescue for an after-school pick-me-up. Toast health daily with a protein-powered drink that will lift sagging spirits, add a blush of color to cheeks and relieve those afternoon hunger pangs. • Milk and dairy products are one of the "basic four" food groups for a daily diet that keeps people fit. Milk and dairy products are leading sources of calcium needed for bone growth and sound teeth. They also provide high quality protein, and are good sources of Vitamin A and riboflavin. Nutritionists recommend two to three eight oz., glasses of milk or its equivalent daily for children under 9 years; three to four glasses daily for children between 9 and 12; four or more for teenagers and two or more for adults. If one hasn't learned to enjoy milk for its good taste and valuable nutrients, it is time to get acquainted. Try some of these new ways with milk drinks. They make a big hit with youngsters, and are a perfect accompaniment with those after-school snacks. POWER SIPPER Beat Vz cup creamy peanut butter and one-third cup honey in mixing bowl or blender.
