No interior petitions will be made out of concrete, and five fire hydrants have been in stalled around the facility to protect against fire. Besides the construction of the high school, Falkinham discussed several other things which are happening to and in the school district. He said that the district has received a grant which will help finance the purchase of kitchen equipment for the cafeteria in the new school. He also noted a new sub division which is being developed near the school, and which apparently will be an nexed to Sunnyside. One hundred and five lots are planned in the subdivision, which, when fully developed, will bring many children into the school system. The present school year has found ninetSNtne additional students in Johnsburg grade schools, and administrators have already set money aside for an expansion of one of the grade school buildings next year. The Johnsburg school boundaries include the following areas: Johnsburg, Sunnyside, Pistakee Highlands and the entire Bay area, Dutch Creek, Whispering Hills, 'and Ringwood. The district extends west to the eastern edge of Wonder Lake, and east to Rt. There are various aspects of constructing a new high school, and some of them are depicted in the pictures on this page. There is plumbing to lay, concrete blocks to move and pillars to erect. Come Aug. 1, this work will culminate In a new school which will be ready to open for students next fall. Commenting on the signing of HB 205, Gov. James Thompson said: / "I commend Senator Schaffer for his work in draf ting and getting this bill through the General Assembly. It substantially tightens the sunshine provisions in our campaign financing laws. Now the public will be able to see for the first time where the Cook County Democratic Central committee gets its money. ji "Senator Schaffer has closed the loophole in the law that prevented public access to this information. As far as I am concerned, this legislation will prove to be the most significant Mil of the session, in terms of the public's right to know."
