The Deans have mixed feelings about leaving their business, which occupied seventy-five hours weekly. "McHenry has been good to us", he said, "and our years in tne store have been rewarding". The Deans call the months ahead an "interlude" during which they will travel and enjoy their home without the pressure of business. While Mr. Dean was in charge of management of the store, his wife served as bookkeeper and assisted in the merchandising of goods. In years of service on Green street, the Deans rank second Local Youths Nominated For Band Honors . Two McHenry youths have been nominated for the 1977 McDonald's All-American high school band.
