Middle street, McHenry, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of can­ nabis and was fined $75 and costs. George C. Bur da, 4212 W. Idyl Dell road, McHenry, entered a negotiated plea of guilty to an amended charge of reckless driving and was fined $300 and costs. The court did not prosecute charges of improper lane use and of driving a vehicle with no headlights. Michael J. Suberla, 8015 Widoff drive, Wonder Lake, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and was fined $75 and costs and to unnecessary noise for a fine of $15 and costs. In a trial, Roderick D. Farrar, Converse road. Island Lake, was found not guilty of failing to yield to an oncoming car. Daniel B. Kass, 9481 N. Hamlin avenue, DesPlaines, entered a negotiated plea of guilty to a charge of failing to signal when required. He was fined $30 and placed on 90 days court supervision. In a trial, Thomas J. Swiontek, 484 Lake street, Antioch, was found guilty of speeding and was fined $50 and costs. James D. Wood lock, 3603 Ridge, Wonder Lake, entered a negotiated plea of guilty to speeding and was fined $30 and placed on 90 days supervision. Andre F. Brennan, 122 Fairfield drive, Island Lake, pleaded guilty to the possession of cannabis over 50 grams and was fined $50 and costs. BRANCH I Associate Circuit Judge Michael Sullivan In a preliminary hearing Nov. 23, probable cause on a charge of criminal damage to property over $150 was found against Michael A. Dr. Paul Q. Peterson, director of the Public Health department said, "The Heimlich Maneuver was chosen as the most appropriate method because it is safe, ef­ fective, simple and can be performed without in­ struments." Hickory drive, Wonder Lake, was sentenced to one- year probation and fined $100 and costs after being convicted of a charge of theft over $150. Hermosillo had been arrested and charged in connection with entry of a building at 2709 N. Walnut, Wonder Lake, June 17, 1977, during which a vacuum cleaner, drill, tape measure, jigsaw, and various other tools were taken. In hearings in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court before Associate Judge Michael Sullivan on Nov. 22: John Zelek, 2500 Spojnia, McHenry, was cleared when the court dismissed a charge of creating or maintaining a nuisance. • Allen C. Swanson, 1415 Lily Lake road, McHenry, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was fined $25 and costs. Lonnie J.
