SUPPIEMENT TO McHENRY PLAINDEALER - PAGE 26 - WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 1*78 Lake by the score of 45 to 40 in a game that both teams would probably like to forget. Cindy Beyer, a senior at West campus, was named to the North Suburban All Conference volleyball team by a vote of coaches. The young lady was the mainstay of the Warrior girls this season, and had a reputation as a "good server". The Lake Forest varsity out- wrestled the wrestling Warriors in a home duel. McHenry wrestlers failed to pin anyone, while Lake Forest chalked up four pins. Senior Tim Oakley increased his season to 7-0-1, while wins brought up the records of sophomore Bruce Brda and senior Mike Zimmerman to 7-1- o and 6-1-1 respectively. The McHenry Warrior Booster club membership reached 105 at the last meeting. The attendance was small due to bad weather. Schedules for all sports were passed out to the members and attendance at sport functions urged. The McHenry high Junior Varsity I wrestling team defeated Lake Forest by the score of 30 to 29. It was a nip and tuck affair throughout the i evening. On The Sideline by Dick Rabbitt: "That's right fans, the Mundelein Mustangs defeated our Warriors 64 to 57 last Tuesday night. Why the Mustangs wanted to travel on a snow packed highway, and in blizzard conditions, is anybody's guess". Faced with a seven point halftime deficit, the McHenry high sophomores rallied for 43 points in the second half to defeat Marian Central 67 to 47. Coach Gary Gray's McHenry freshmen cagers had a very productive weekend, as they won three games to extend their record to 5 wins and 1 loss.
