Monthly Meeting The Conservation club monthly meeting held May 18 was an interesting and lively meeting. A lengthy discussion regarding the annexation of the Herman Mass property to the city of McHenry and its effects on McCullom Lake, produced some very spirited discussion. For those interested in what happens to McCullom Lake. please attend these meetings, we need your help and opinions. The next monthly meeting is June 15 at 8 p.m. McCullom Lake beach house on Orchard drive. This is another important step in the Con­ servation club's ongoing and future plans for improvement of McCullom Lake. Area B A concrete sump of a circular sewage type, buried at the Otto farm where the creek flows in a culvert under Ringwood road, plus a buried 12 inch diameter pipe approximately 5 to 6 feet (estimated) below the surface approximately 900 feet long can pick up this water and discharge it into the creek which is culverted under Ringwood road and goes un­ derground through Brittany Park and discharges into McCullom Lake. The additional pick-up of water should ap­ proximate 50,000 to 100,000 gallons per day. The estimated cost of the project is $6,000. This is the easiest and most economical of the areas to increase water flow into Mc­ Cullom Lake. Other locations will be published in Friday's issue.
