Walter Kuck of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4600 and Bernard Matchen of American Legion Post 491 will serve as parade marshals. More in­ formation may be obtained by calling either of these men. Everyone is urged to observe this day set aside for fallen heroes by coming to the city park at 9:30 a.m.. watching or marching in the parade and proudly flying the American flag. May 20, Kevin Fritzschg <|f Woodstock, reported to police that his motorcycle had been stolen while it was parked at 2610 Indian Trail in McHenry. The motorcycle was taken sometime after midnight from the patio of the residence where it was parked. Someone broke open a vent window of an auto belonging to Douglas Strom, 5404 W. Lake Shore drive. Wonder Lake, May 19, while it was parked at his residence. Taken by the intruder were a 40-channel CB radio, a power booster, a cassette player and a cassette tape case containing approximately 70 tapes. Two autos parked at the Farmer's Almanac restaurant on Route 31 were the target for thieves May 19. An auto belonging to Roy Sullivan of McHenry was broken into and a tool box, assorted tools, two speakers and four 8-track tapes were taken. A car belonging to Jeanne Strossmer of McHenry was also broken into and the offenders took two speakers. Curran's Drive-In, 7120 Barnard Mill road, Wonder Lake, was broken into May 18 by someone who pried open the rear door of the building.
