PAGE 4 - PLAINDEALKR -FRIDAY, MAY 26, 1978 Three Injured In Rear-End Crash Three persons were injured including two McHenry residents, in a rear-end collision on Route 12, near Richmond, Wednesday af ternoon. According to police, Diana M. Sornson and Granville Sornson, both of 207 N. Green street, were taken to McHenry hospital by the Richmond Rescue squad after the car which Ms. Sornson was driving was struck in the rear by a ! school bus. John P. Morici, Lake Geneva, Wis., the driver of the bus, told police he was nor thbound on Route 12, when he noticed the Sornson vehicle stopped in traffic. Morici said he applied his brakes but slid into the rear of the stopped auto. As a result of the impact, the Sornson vehicle was pushed forward and struck another car driven by Michael Bundi of Dundee. A passenger in the Bundi vehicle, Elizabeth L. Bundi, also of Dundee, was injured and taken to McHenry hospital. Bundi told police he was stopped because a car ahead of him was making a left turn into a driveway. The three injured people were treated and released. An accident Saturday on Route 120 at Ramble road in jured three McHenry residents. Patricia A. Louria, 3704 Grant road, was driving across Route 120 from Ramble road into a restaurant parking lot, when her car was struck by a car traveling eastbound on Route 120, driven by Roy J. Thompson, Jr., 4014 Kane avenue. Thompson told police the cars in the left lane next to him were stopped when the Lourie vehicle pulled in front of him and he could not avoid the collision. Ms. Lourie and two passengers in her car, David J. Sosinski, 4409 W. Parkway drive, and Edward J Matusyak. 4820 Prairie, were injured and taken to McHenry hospital by the McHenry Rescue squad. Ms. Lourie was ticketed for failing to yield at an in tersection. Ronald J. Pepping, 20$ Dale, was ticketed for failing to report an accident to police following an accident on Route 120 Sunday at noon. According to police, wit nesses saw the Pepping vehicle strike a parked car belonging to Daniel Vaconio, 308 Riverside and leave the scene of the accident:' ] When police contacted Pepping, he said he was unaware of hitting anything. According to Lake County Sheriff's police, the body was found by a Conservation department patrol in the area. Police indicate that the body is that of a white female, ap proximately 16-M> years of age and bearing two tatoos. The body had apparently been in the trunk in the water for over a month. The service was a climax to two years of study in preparation for becoming confirmed members of the church. During their period of study the class members discussed the Ten com mandments, the Apostles Creed, the Lord's Prayer, the Sacrament of Holy Baptism, the Sacrament of Holy Com munion, and Bible History. Various recreational outings were held during the course of the two years, along with the discussion periods for the students. The class members, were taught by parish worker, Kristin Stuhr, and Pastor Roger Schneider.
