May 26, June 2 & 9, 1978) THOUGHT FOR FOOD By GOULD CROOK CHICKEN AND NOODLE CASSEROLE This is one of those "all in one" dishes that can be put together early in the day if you want to and then pop it into the oven 30 minutes before meal time. 6 ounces medium noodles--cooked 1 can mushroom soup 2/3 cup milk 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning 2 (3 ounce) pkgs cream cheese and 1 cup cream style cottage cheese 1/3 cup each of sliced green olives, chopped onions and chopped green pepper. 1/4 cup parsley, minced 4 cups diced chicken 112 cup butter bread crumbs Mix soup, milk, salt and poultry seasoning. Beat cream cheese and cottage cheese together and stir in olives, onions, green pepper and par­ sley. In casserole, place 1/2 of noodles, then 1/2 of cheese mixture, then 1/2 of the chicken and 1/2 of the soup. Repeat and top with crumbs. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
