Vows were repeated before the Rev. Sandefur during a 1 o'clock garden wedding in Vista, Calif. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Godina of 5231 W. West lane, McCullom Lake, and the parents of the bridegroom are Mr. ana Mrs. Jack McCafferty of 4000 E. Lake Shore drive, Wonder Lake. The bride chose a white gown designed with a V neckline and a capelet collar trimmed with a deep lace ruffle and em broidered with pink flowers. A festive mood prevailed at the dinner party hosted by his parents with grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller of Johnsburg; his godfather, Jim Miller, and Mrs. Miller; his brother, Patrick, 94; and his sister, Joanne, 8, attending. North of Johnsburg Pioneer Club Members To View Gardens-Museum When the Pioneer club members gathered for their June meeting, the program chairman reported that there would be a trip to Rockford by bus Thursday, Jilly 20. The bus will leave the town parking lot at 9 a.m. and the day's ac tivities will include a tour of Sinissippi Sunken gardens, lunch at Bishop's cafeteria, and a visit to Time museum. - Reservations must be made before July 17 with Robert Leonhardt of Solon Mills. Senior citizens of the Richmond and Burton township areas as well as those in the villages of Richmond and Spring Grove are welcome to join the group on trips because of the availability of Federal Revenue Sharing funds, Credit for Transporation. Members enjoyed lunch with the prayer offered by Vera Frey. In attendance were Lydia Sorenson and Mary Tomasek who had been absent because of illness. It was announced that Mary Stanek wasn't well, and a new member, Helen Miller, was welcomed by the group. The Pioneer club will host the next bi-council meeting to be held at Orsolini's July 21 at 12:30. Reservations must be made by July 10. The next club meeting will be held July 18 with Rose and John Jankowiak, Marie and Albert Rigby and Bea and Emil Meier the appointed committee. She wore a pink picture hat and carried a bouquet of white daisies, pink carnations and baby's breath. Attending the bridal couple were the sister of the bride, Colleen Godina of McHenry, as maid of honor, and Bruce Erber of Hawaii, the bridegroom's brother, as best man. The maid of honor was gowned in pink with a jacket complementing her outfit. She wore a pink hat and carried white daisies, pink carnations and baby's breath. The couple were toasted at a dinner held at an Oceanside, Calif., restaurant following the ceremony. The newlyweds are both graduates of McHenry Com munity high school, the bride in 1978 and the groom in 1976. The groom is a Lance Corporal with the U.S. Marine corp and is stationed at Camp Pendelton, Calif. The couple will make their home at 1716 S. Tremont, Apt. A, Oceanside, Calif. MR. AND MRS. ANTHONY KOBESKI GOLDEN JUBILARIANS-Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Kobeski will celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary Saturday, July 1, with a nuptial Mass at St Mary's Catholic church. Regent Mary Obenauf was appointed by Lucy Schell, Illinois state regent, to proofread the minutes of the state convention. It is hoped Gift Necklace Worn By Bride At June Mass A pearl necklace, a gift to her mother from her father on their wedding day, was worn by Kristine Marie Kahl when she became the bride of James Jay Stahl Saturday, June 24. Rev. Edmund Petit blessed the exchange of vows during a 3 o'clock nuptial Mass at the altar of St. Patrick's Catholic church amidst decorations of white floral bouquets. One of the musical selections offered during the ceremony included "Wedding Song" sung by the uncle of the bride, Robert Bogard of Richmond, 111., with organ ac companiments The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. Kahl of 3709 W. John street, McHenry, and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stahl of 4202 E. Lake Shore drive, Wonder Lake. The bridal gown of ivory organza over bridal taffeta featured a Queen Anne neckline, a bodice of clipped lace embroidered with seed pearls, long full sleeves with cuffs also embroidered with pearls, and a full length skirt which swept into a cathedral length train. Her bouffant double veil was designed with a floor length veil and tiers of veiling held by a lace and pearl cap. She carried a cascading bouquet of ivory fugi mums, stephanotis and greenery. The bride was attended by Doreen Niederhofer as matron of honor while Sue Anderson and Cathy Weber acted as bridesmaids. Lisa Grenz of Schaumberg was junior bridesmaid. The attendants wore halter style gowns of peach qiana fashioned with a chiffon cape caught at the shoulder with a silk rose. Each carried an arm bouquet of a single peach rose, baby's breath and greenery. The responsibilities of best man were handled by Tom Bryan of Wonder Lake and groomsmen included Michael Schulthies and Scott Kahl. Michael Kalk of McHenry was junior groomsman and Michael Woods and Frank Urban, Jr., were ushers. The bride's mother was at tired in a floor length gown of chiffon and qiana in nile green while Mrs. Stahl chose a floor length gown of qiana and chiffon in sea foam aqua with a matching coat. Two 'hundred guests congratulated the bridal couple at the McHenry County club at a dinner dance immediately following the ceremony. Honored guests at the reception included the bride's grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Cairns of Walworth, Wis., and the groom's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Magnus Rassmussan of Woodstock. The newlyweds will make their home in McHenry after their return from a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas. The couple are both graduates of McHenry Com munity high school, the bride in 1977 and the groom in 1974.
