JOHN JOSEPH ZRINY John Joseph iriny of 4502 Garden Quarter, McHenry, died late Monday, July 3, of injuries suffered in an auto accident which occurred at 11:50 o'clock that night on Rt. 47, 2 miles south of Huntley in Kane county. Mr. Zriny, 25, was born in Woodstock Dec. 1, 1952, the son of Stephen and LaVerne (Stateczny) Zriny Tonyan. He had been a resident of McHenry his entire lifetime and attended the local schools. At the time of his death, he was employed as a stock clerk for the Dominic store in Crystal Lake His father preceded him in death He is survived by,, his mother and three brothtfr^, Stephen J. and Robert J Zriffy and Charles W . Tonyan, all of McHenry There will be no visitation Memorial services will be conducted Friday, July 7, at 11 a m at Zion Lutheran church, to which friends are invited In lieu of flowers, donations in bis memory may be made to the Little League Arrangements were made by the Peter M Justen & Son funeral home. ROSE MARY BLACHER A business woman in the McHenry area for over 30 years, Miss Rose Mary Blacher, died at Carestoel Professional Care center, McHenry, Wednesday, July 5, at the age of 73. ANDERSON Charles M < Andy > Anderson, 53, of 140 Fellows road, Genoa City, Wis., died Tuesday evening, July 4. as a result of injuries sustained in a one-car accident at Keystone and Burgett roads, northwest of Richmond Mr Anderson was born in Kobbinsdale, Minn , Oct 6. 1924. the son of John and Hilda Tumtingem Anderson He was employed as a chemical engineer at Morton Chemical in RingWood and was a member of the Morton Blenders chib. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star during a 30-year term of service with the U.S. Marine Corps. Many other medals marked active par­ ticipation in World War II and the Korean Conflict from 1942 to* 1972. He was a member of Sponholtz-Deignan American Legion Post 183, Genoa City. He married Patsy (Whiting) in Winterhaven, Calif., May 15, 1970, who survives. In addition to his widow, he leaves six daughters, Laurel" Anderson of Peru, South America, Leslie Anderson of San Juan, Calif., Mrs. Dennis ' Nikki) Hammonds of Salem, Wis., and Anita, Sheri,' and Angela Easterling, all at home; one grandson; his mother of I^aCrosse, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs Marion- Thompson of Fargo, N D and Mrs. Robert i Margaret) Colleran of LaCrosse, Wis.; and a brother, John J Anderson, Jr.. of San Diego, Calif. He was preceded in death by his father in February of 1974.
