Adding insult to injury, the second game was decided in extra innings when an errant throw hit the back of Rick Wakitsch who should have been cut down in a rundown. He scored the winning run. The final scores were 11-6 and 15-14, both thrillers! Ron Miller led the winners in game one with 4 hits, 2 runs and 2 RBI's. Joe Dehn added 3 base hits and 4 RBI's. Rick Wakit­ sch, Steve Rohrer and Doug Freund each had 2 hits and an RBI. Dave Schaefer did likewise, adding 3 runs scored. Bill Huff and Mike Peterson each went 3 for 3 for Rusty Nail.
