It became evident at the June 15 Land Use committee public hearing that the Planning commission is unaware of the magnitude of the horse population in McHenry county and thus cannot accurately make provisions for the business and recreational needs of its county residents. This census is believed by the association in the best interest of all private owners, breeders, trainers, and private and' commercial stables. Those who own a horse or pony are asked to take a moment to state name, ad dress, township and number of horses owned and send to MCHA, Box 405, Woodstock, 60098, or Trail "Chairman, 4420 Harts, Ringwood, 60072.
