According to McHenry police, Laura L. Souster, 313 Hill road, and Re mice C. Miller, 913 S. Darrell road, were taken by the McHenry Area rescue squad to the McHenry hospital where they were treated for injuries. According to the accident report, Ms. Souster was pulling from Crystal Lake road onto Route 120 to head west, when her car was struck by the Miller vehicle which was eastbound on Route 120. Tt Two McHenry women were injured following an accident at the Route 120-Crystal Lake road intersection late Tuesday morning. According to the police accident report, Laura L. Souster, 313 Hill road, told police she was pulling from Crystal Lake road onto Route 120 to head westbound, when her car was struck by an eastbound vehicle on Route 120. The driver of the other car, Bernice C. Miller, 913 Darrell road, said that the Souster vehicle pulled in front of her and she could not avoiding striking the other car. Both drivers were taken to McHenry hospital by the McHenry Area Rescue squad for treatment of injuries they sustained in the mishap. Ms. Souster was ticketed by McHenry police for failing to yield when turning left. A ten-year-old boy was injured when the bike he was riding apparently fell into the path of an automobile Saturday. Douglas A Benedict, 1810 N. Park lane, was riding his bike westbound on W. Route 120, when he reportedly lost control and fell into the traffic lane. Leonard M. Norkett, Orland Park, told police he was westbound arid observed the westbound bicycle swerve to the left into the path of his auto. Norkett said he swerved to the left to avoid the boy and the bicycle, but still hit the cyclist Stella Graham, 3816 W Main street, was taken to McHenry hospital by the McHenry Rescue squad, after she was struck while walking near 3705 Elm street Saturday afternoon Lillian M. Haydam, Round Lake, told police she had stopped at the driveway on Elm street and after waiting for cross traffic to clear, she started to turn right onto Elm street A pedestrian suddenly- appeared in front of her vehicle, according to Ms Haydam, and she could not avoid striking the pedestrian No tickets were issued following the mishap George G Gilpin, Jr., 5406 Memory trail, escaped injur, when his car went out of control after blowing a tire on Waukegan road Saturday night. Gilpin told police he was eastbound on Waukegan road when his right rear tire blew out, causing the car to swerve across the westbound lanes and hit a fire hydrant Both drivers were ticketed following a two-car accident on Elm street at Green street early Saturday morning Richard A Hager, 117 Hill road, told police he was westbound on Elm street and thought he had the green arrow to turn left onto Green street Today's Youth An eastbound car. driven by William E. Wollmuth, Grayslake, struck the turning Hager auto as it turned in front of the approaching auto. Hager was ticketed for failing to yield and Wollmuth was ticketed for driving while his license was suspended.
