Anyone interested in an in­ formational program filled with decorating ideas and exciting and unusual suggestions on ways to use wallpaper to add color, texture, pattern and personality to all rooms, plan now to attend the Sept. 12 meeting of the Town and Country Newcomers club This September, Newcomers gathering will take place Tuesday, Sept. 12, at St Paul's Episcopal church at 7:30 p.m. Program vice-president, Elizabeth Loughan, has an­ nounced that a local hardware and variety store will sponsor a wallpaper demonstration by the area representative of a Chicago-based wallpaper company. Whether it is a do-it-yourself papering project or will be done by a professional, this helpful presentation will take the mystery out of this home im­ provement project. Included will be actual samples of imported wall coverings and handmade wallpapers with unusual backgrounds and colors. Swatches of products will show textures and colors and in­ formation on features of other decorative materials will be presented Members are particularly encouraged to attend this meeting because plans for future club activities and children's events will be discussed. The next Tea, Talk, and Sew, a get-acquainted morning meeting especially for new members, will take place Thursday, Sept. 21, at 9:30 a.m. Details will be available from Mrs. Ron Bisiewicz. Pierce approached the altar of St Patrick's church on Sept. 2, to exchange vows with Terry J. Tiffany, of Lake Tomahawk, Wis Ann is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Willard Pierce, 810 W. Barbara lane, McHenry. Mr and Mrs Frank Tiffany of Little Chicago, Wis are the parents of the groom Autumn-colored leaves from northern Wisconsin decorated the church for the 1 p.m. ceremony Music was presented with a personal touch by organist Dan Diedrich, and special friends, Chris Gwiaz- sowski. Joanne Roll, and Sister Marol Mecko. Miss Pierce's gown of white satin with its long skirt ending in a circular train, was make for her by her mother. It was an exact replica of the gown by the bride's mother at her own wedding. Ruth and Mary Pierce, sisters of the bride, and Doreen Miller, all of McHenry, Nancy Bonovich of Gurnee, and Linda Smith of Janesville all attended the bride They were all outfitted in red satin floor-length gowns with flared skirts, and fitted sleeves and bodice. Service CALL 385-0283 TODAY Wedding Trio Features The Groom s Father "The Prayer of St. Francis" and "The Wedding Song "were beautifully rendered in honor of the bridal couple, Pamela Wiser and John Cooper, by Frank Cooper, the groom's father, and by Joan Cooper and Bernadette Freres, during the wedding at St. Peter's church in Volo. The church was festively decorated with fresh white carnations and white ribbons as Father Heaney performed the 3 p.m. ceremony on Sept. 2. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Wiser, Round Lake, and Frank Cooper, 506 Lakeview avenue, Wauconda, and the late Joan Cooper, are the parents of the groom. The bride chose a white chiffon gown with high illusion neckline, delicately sprinkled with pearls. The bodice and straight sleeves were tastefully accented with reembroidered alencon lace, which was also repeated around the border of the bride's fingertip veil. Kim Mitchell of Wauconda attended the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Colleen Wiser of Volo, Therese Cooper of Wauconda, and Fran Wiser of McHenry. The attendants were attired in full-length peach gowns, with long sleeves. White lace decorated the bodice and Victorian neckline of each dress Performing the duties of best man was Tony Alfieri of Barrington. The groomsmen were Vince Stone of DesPlaines, Jim Wiser of Volo, and Andy Gebhardt of Wauconda. The bride's mother chose a peach A-line formal gown with sheer sleeves. The American Legion hall in McHenry was the scene of a reception for 160 guests held in honor of the bridal couple. The bride and groom are both graduates of Wauconda high school, and he is currently attending the College of Lake county.
