Until now, one blue van has been loading meals prepared at Marian Central High School and reaching out to a portion of the county. Before the vans could serve the nutrition program, they had to be equipped with special racks for delivery of food These racks hold warming ovens, coolers and other special equipment Meet and Eat Senior Nutrition Program, in large blue lettering on the sides, identify the vans, that travel to existing walk-in centers where seniors are working together, greeting each other, setting tables, serving meals, and then clearing the way for a game of gards or movie afterwards "1 like to keep busy", is the attitude of volunteers who help the program run smoothly They are proud to be a part of the crew that provides one- third of the daily nutrtional requirements for others who are alone or unable to prepare regular meals for themselves.
