The slate of officers for 1979 met with unanimous approval, and the officers-elect will be installed at the January general meeting and Com­ munion brunch There will be no December general meeting because of the holidays A detailed report was given on the October Bazaar and Luncheon, with everyone being well pleased with the results The craft group w ill be starting shortly after the first of the year, their goal to raise money for the I ' M W pledge to the building fund More in­ formation will be given as soon as plans are completed, and it is hoped that many women of lfie church will participate in this project W.L. Pioneers Made Blood Pressure Tests Available A blood pressure screening was made available to the thirty-nine members of the Pioneer club present at the Nov. 21 meeting and dessert lunch A motion was made and approved to make a donation to the United Community church in Richmond for the use of their social hall on Nov. 7. Sunshine chairman reported that„Violet Feldman is sti l l hospitalized and seriously ill , Emil Meier is a patient in McHenry hospital, and Ann Wenclowski is on the sick list . Cards have been sent to these members A trip to the Ice Follies in Milwaukee is being planned for the end of January Date for the Christmas party is Dec. 19. A good will committee was formed and some suggestions were given on how to make Christmas a happy time for those in need, or for some other worthy cause There was a discussion on the need of bus service The next meeting will be Dec 5. and the committee consists of Frank and Frances Heinemann, Frank and Carol Guillaume. Dinner Although the weather was not too good, the T H E.O S met at 5;30 p m on Monday. Nov 20. at a local restaurant for dinner, and then went to the First United Methodist church, and there was good attendance Guests Irma Lyman. Doris Poole, and Elaine Bertram received a warm welcome Betty F'airchild and Gladys Korner were the hostesses, and the games they had prepared were "mind bogglers" The members receiving the prizes really deserved them The next meeting of T.H.E.O.S. will be on Monday.
