His death ended about a year of failing health. Besides Mrs. Schmitt, he leaves his wife. Nellie: three other daughters and one son. • Services and burial were conducted Monday in Grand- view PAUL E. ZENK Paul E. Zenk, 74, of 1609 S. Crystal Lake road, McHenry, died Tuesday, Nov. 28 at Harvard Memorial hospital. He was born Feb. 6, 1904, in Nunda township, the son of William and Mary (Fuher) Zenk Survivors include two sons, Jack of McHenry and Bob of Effingham. Ill ; three daughters. Mrs. Judith Brock of Harvard. Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Ryburn of Elgin, and Mrs Jean Mority of Ef­ fingham: sixteen grand­ children; and two brothers and a sister living in McHenry, William. Glen, and Mary Zenk , He was preceded in death by a son, Steven P., and a brother, Raymond. Visitation was Wednesday from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Peter M. Justen and Son funeral home. Funeral Mass was at St. Thomas Catholic church, Crystal Lake, Thursday, at 10 a m., with burial in Crystal Lake Union cemetery. JOHN W. WISNIEWSKI John W Wisniewski. 65, 319 Meadow Springs road, McHenry, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, at McHenry hospital. He was born Feb.l, 1913 in Chicago, the son of Joseph and M a r g a r e t ( N o w a k ) Wisniewski. He lived here for seven years, having previously resided in Cary, 111 He is survived by his wife, the former Anna M. Skelnik; a son. Joseph (Judith), and a daughter, Mrs. Jerry Lee (Suzanne* Chabowski, both of McHenry; two grandchildren: sisters Annette Mabus, Adeline Kupczyk, and Mrs. Lorraine Kopczynski, of Chicago; a brother. Bruno Wisniewski of Chicago; and a sister-in-law. Rita, wife of his late brother, Zigmund. of Niles. Visitation was held Thur­ sday. Nov. 30. from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Peter M Justen and Son Installation Ceremony For Judge Cowlin An installation ceremony is planned for the recently elected Circuit Judge Henry L. Cowlin, who will fill the vacancy of Charles S Parker. Judge Cowlin follows in the footsteps of his father. Henry L. Cowlin. Sr.. who served with distinction as McHenry county judge for twenty-two years, and until his death in 1958. The ceremony will take place at the McHenry county cour­ thouse, Court Room 305, Monday.
