The pledge of allegiance was led by Kerri Beutel and the 4-H pledge was led by Scott Brough. Philip Thennes reported on the Holiday Folk fair, which was held Nov. 17-19 at the Mecca building in Milwaukee. Janet May said she would have a cat care clinic Jan. 20 on how to groom and care for cats. The president, Sue Malenius, said we would be going caroling at Carestoel nursing home in McHenry, and give a formal presentation on the meaning and beginning of Christmas, then go caroling in the halls to the people who didn't attend the presentation. We also discussed the In­ ternational night, which will be our Janaury meeting. We will be having some exchange students come in and talk about their native countries. Some 4- Hers will be wearing costumes from various countries. We talked about our February meeting, which will be Health night. We went caroling in the Johnsburg neighborhood. Glenn Harper, super visor of the department's in­ formation and education division, said the show.
