McHenry, planning for a winter retreat. The Junior and Senior Luther leagues at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church, 404 North Green street, enjoyed a "Tubing" outing this past week. Approximately 60 students from the two leagues traveled to southern Wisconsin to enjoy a modern version of sledding at the "tubing runs". Among them was Deborah Schabow of McHenry, who earned honors. Based on 4.0 scale, honors are received for a grade point of 3.50 to 3.74. An average of 3.75 to 4.0 inclusive is required for high honors. Students must also carry 12 semester hours to be eligible. To avoid delay in mailing Wage and Tax statements, employees should furnish his employer with a current ad­ dress, according to IRS. If employees do not receive their statements by the end of January, they should contact their employer first. After Feb. 15, they should contact their local IRS office. Miss Clark County Fair Winner Of State Crown Sandra Lea Booth, Miss Clark County fair, was crowned Miss Illinois County Fair, 1979 late this month, climaxing the sixty-ninth annual convention of the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs held at the Holiday Inn East in Springfield. Miss Booth is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Booth of Marshall, 111. Queen Sandra will reign as official state queen of the 102 Illinois county fairs and numerous other events throughout the state, the most outstanding being the Illinois State fair. First runner-up, Rosemarie Bailey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Bailey of Michael, Ill.} represented Calhoun county.
