4 Talent Call In McHenry Ringwood News 385-8037 653-9262 728-0343 Hurricane Happening entertainment planners Chuck Naughton, left, and Dan Maione, right, are busy this month assembling talent for the annual countywide event. At center is Bob Emery, co- chairperson of this year's program. / /"Entertainment planners for "Hurricane Happenings - '79" are catting for talent this month. The last of five gatherings at various locations to bring together individuals interested in performing in the annual countywide event is slated for 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, at St. Patrick's school in McHenry. Anyone who can sing, dance, whistle, tell funny jokes, perform magic, do a comedy routine or play a musical in strument and would like to join in the fun should attend one of the talent call gatherings, planners said. Scheduled for the weekends of April 20-21 and 27-28, the theme for this year's Hurricane Happening is "Fantasy Islands". Visitors will be en tertained at Manhatten Island, the British Isles, Catalina Island and Coney Island among others. The fund raising event is presented by parents, alumni friends and staff of Marian Central high school. The monies earned are used to help defray expenditures of the educational program. All performers are invited to participate in this opportunity to be "on stage" and at the same time support Marian Central. Last year, more than 3,000 people were entertained and this year even more are expected over the two weekends Additional information may be obtained by calling (815 ) 338- 4220. People simply could not get to the store because of the record breaking cold and snow So for the first time in our history we are honoring every adver tised price (featured in Janaury advertising) through the entire month of February. These are not weekend specials These prices will be honored every day throughout the entire month Copies of every advertisement will be posted in all three Tidy locations so that you might know and compare what we're offering I can not over emphasize the importance of the savings to con sumers available during this unprecedented sales event In some cases every singte carpet of a specific style, or from a specific mill will be greatly reduced in price I personally guaranteed that this is truly a rare opportunity to save on first quality, famous mill floor coverings Please come to our showrooms as soon as you can, due to the limited quantities on many of our advertised items Your early response will guarantee you the largest possible selection We'll still honor our 90-day same as cash plan just ask one of our sales people for details Naturally Visa and Master Charge cards are welcome Cordially, Bill Schoepke President & Owner Tidy Carpets & Area Rugs CARPETS WAREHOUSE DIVISION 200 Washington ( II",;.'
