How To" Lesson For Next LaLeche Meeting The LaLeche league groups of McHenry and Fox Lake will hold the second meeting of their series next week, and discussion for February will center around the art of breastfeeding. LaLeche league was founded in 1956 when a few mothers started meeting to help each other by discussing how to breastfeed their babies. Un fortunately, due to attitudes in modern society, many mothers who feel it best to nurse their babies, find it difficult to do so. League members learn some techniques to help ensure successful breastfeeding, and how to avoid or overcome problems, plus the importance of a secure emotional relationship between mother and baby. Anyone interested is welcome to attend League meetings, especially pregnant or nursing mothers and their babies, and also to use the league lending library and literature. The Fox Lake group, which includes Johnsburg, Richmond and Pistakee Highlands, will meet Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m., and the McHenry group will meet Thursday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. For further information on the meeting or about the league, please contact league leaders Mrs. Gerald (Mary) Chatham or Mrs. Richard (Marcia) McGowan. 0NFAT0P travel service V l l L v l v l AIRLINE Planning • Caribbean crwita?
