Drop-Add Policy It is the responsibility of the student to contact the Records Office at the College, either by phone or in person, whenever a change in his/her class schedule is desired. Failure to do so will result in the student receiving no credit for such classes. a ~*r McHenry County CoUcga Rt. 14 & Lucas Road Crystal Lake, IL 60014 Refund Policy Upon proper withdrawal procedure, a student may be allowed tuition refunds based upon the following schedule: Full Refund Classes dropped before the first week of class or classes cancelled due to low enrollment. 90% Refund The equivalent of one week of classes, 45% Refund The equivalent of the second and third week of classes. No Refund After the equivalent of three weeks of classes. Seminar/Workshop Full refunds will be given for students dropping before Refund the Seminar/Workshop begins. No refund will be given after the Seminar /Workshop has started. Special Fee For Auditing An individual who desires only information and not a credit or grade may enroll as an auditor. Auditors must go through the regular registra tion process, and in addition to the tuition stated above for Illinois resi dents, a $20.00 per credit hour fee will be assessed. The State of Illinois, pro vides no funds for auditors, and the special fee is necessary to replace this lost source of revenue. Senior Citizens Tuition Reduction McHenry County College offers Senior Citizens a tuition reduction. Seniors (60 years of age and older) will have to pay one third of the regular tuition charge plus all fees for Regular Credit and General Studies credit courses. Tuition charges for some non-credit classes vary and will be sti pulated at the time of paying tuition and fees. The registration hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. & 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Mon day through Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. Registration at McHenry High School West*Campus will be on the night the classes start from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
