Coffee is El Salvador's number one crop. Berries are hand picked and a skilled worker can pick 200 pounds -- enough to produce 40 lbs. of coffee beans -- in one day. Porter's musical, "Kiss Me, Kate". The story revolves around actor Fred Graham (Peter Bender) and actress Lilli Vanessi (JCris Salmon), co- stars in a revival of "The Taming of the Shrew". Once married to each other, Lilli is now engaged to Senator Harrison Howell (Dave Thornton), and does everything in her power to let Fred know it. One night, Fred sends flowers to actress and co-worker Lois Lane (Sandy Fuller), who is in love with gambling actor Bill Calhoun (Tim Collier). The flowers, however, get detoured into Lilli's dressing room, and that's when the fun begins. Along with those already listed, the show includes the ta lents of Lori Robertson, Derek Gilbert, Steve Parisi, Russ Crittenden, Joe Mroz, Brady Anderson, Tony Lazaldi, Doug Maris, Greg Boyd, and many other singers and dancers. Putting on a musical is not a new experience for the McHenry Drama club. Members have been putting on musicals for many years. Their advisor, Charles Popp, is an experienced and seasoned diector. Some of the club's more memorable productions include "South Pacific," "Fiddler on the Roof", "Camelot", and "Oliver". This year's production of "Kiss Me, Kate" is sure to be enjoyable. Performance dates are March 29, 30 and 31 at 8 p.m. in the West campus audutorium, and April l at 2 p.m. A senior citizens' per formance will be given free of charge March 27 at 8 p.m. For more information, call West campus high school. Galen This Tasty Ham Encore Will Win Hearty Applause One of the nicest features of the Easter ham is that it can be enjoyed long after the holiday feast has ended. Left overs in form of sandwiches, salads, soups and sauces are just some of the ways ham can come to the table the sec* ond time around. For a hearty one-dish meal, bake the ham in a with vegetables and a ̂ bread topping, suggests th ̂i National Live Stock and Me Board. Inspired by popular succotash, this Southern-stylft dish calls for diced ham com"" bined with lima beam and cream-style corn and is sea soned with mustard and onion.
