Students at Valley View school, 6515 W. Route 120, McHenry, will be entertained and educated by The Truck Friday, March 16, at 1:30 and 2:30 p.m., in a program sponsored by Urban Gateways, of Chicago, one of the nation's leading arts-education agen­ cies. The Truck will perform "If I Wore Your Shoes," a sketch showing how to better un­ derstand others. Urban Gateways is a not-for- profit arts-education agency located in Chicago. The agency serves more than 500,000 school children and their teachers in 600 schools throughout the six-county metropolitan area in a com­ munity-based arts-education program called the model for the nation by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). uUlban Gateways is funded by federal, state, and city governments, individuals, and corporations. It is now engaged in raising $180,000 to qualify for a $60,000 challenge grant of­ fered by NEA.
