There was a very good at tendance at the April meeting of the Marcia Mary Ball circle, and the members were busy planning the annual circle picnic, which will be held on Tuesday, July 17 at Peterson park. This will be catered picnic, and will include the usual "White Elephant" sale. The circle will also have its annual "Luncheon out" on Tuesday, June 5 and will decide at the May meeting where to go for lunch. Lyda Radisch and Mary Dobbins will be the hostesses for the May 1 meeting. Mary Dobbins reported on the progress of the Craft club, which is doing quite well, and which meets every Monday morning at 10 a.m. at the church. Following the circle meetings there was a "Tee Shirt Demonstration Party", after which cookies and coffee was served to the guests by Lonah Wendlandt. MR. AND MRS. ARTHUR STACKOWSKI *NEW ORLEANS TRIP - After a honeymoon to the Gulf of Mexico 'and the New Orleans area, the former Cheryl Mae Harman, an 'employee of McHenry hospital, and Arthur J. Stackowski, will -reside in Crystal Lake. A March 24 double ring ceremony in the ' First Congregational church of Crystal Lake, united the daughter *of Floyd and Carol Harman and the son of Harry and Geneva <Stackowski. both families of Crystal Lake. Some of the music for 'the ceremony was provided by the "Celebration Ringers" handbell 'choir of the First Congregational church. The bride's bouffant '* gown was worn over a hoop, and was accented with both cluny and *chantilly lace. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the "Iron Skillet for 135 guests. Both the bride and the groom attended •'Crystal Lake high school, and the groom spent two years in the • Naval Air Service. At the April meeting of the Executive committee of the U.M.W. Mission team, the calendar of upcoming events was discussed in detail, and final plans and revisions were made on several items. Final arrangements were completed for the program for the general meeting on April 19, and potluck luncheon held at the church, with the Marcia Mary Ball circle as the hostesses. The menu and ticket prices for the Mother and Daughter banquet on May 17 at 6:30 p.m. were discussed, as was the program. Plans are about completed for this event. The June 14 general meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. at the church, with the Mission team as the hostesses. The U.M.W. Mission Team will meet at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 30 at the church, in order to have this executive meeting prior to the May circle meetings. Lakeland Woman's Club Elects 1979 Officers Officers for the 1979-80 social year were chosen at the April 11 meeting of the Lakeland Park Woman's club. The following were unanimously selected: Shirley Koch, president; Adele Arndt, vice-president; Sharon Gacek, secretary; Barbara Burke, treasurer; Frances Kostka, registrar; and Lyda Radisch, publicity chairman. Also on the agenda at this meeting was planning for the Spaghetti dinner scheduled for Sunday, May 20, at the Lakeland Park Community house.
