Heart Attack Film Shown To Lake Senior Citizens A very interesting and educational film on heart at­ tacks was shown by Bob Rankin at the Wonder Lake Senior Citizen club. Mr. Rankin will be back later to show a film on retirement. Other business conducted was the installation of Blanche Jacobson as treasurer. A committee for the annual picnic was appointed and plans for a fun day were discussed. Members are urged to sign -up for a dinner and play at Shady Lane with Bill Lamont. Also for a ball game in the near future. There must be a total of forty people to fill the bus in order to go to either place. Refreshments were served by the ladies. The next meeting will be May 7. Lakeland Park & Lakeland Shores Sharon Gacek 385-3777 Smith Family Welcomes Baby Son, Sean Carl Blue will be the predominant color in the nursery for Sean Carl Smith, and this nursery will have many trains, trucks and sports equipment. Sean was born to proud parents Carl and Carol Smith who reside at 4813 Shore drive. Time of Sean's arrival was 11:35 on Monday, April 16, at McHenry hospital. The scales tipped to 8 lbs., 15 oz., and Sean stretched the ruler out to 19inches. Proud grandparents are J.C. and Robbie Smith of Pine Bluff, Ark., and William and Gladys Elzer of Norridge. Sean also has two great grandmothers to spoil him, they are Lillian Thor (maternal) and Mattie Mc- Cormick (paternal). The very best to the Smith family and a hearty welcome to baby Sean! TURNSTWO Benjamin Belohlavy had two parties to celebrate his second birthday. Mom, Carol held a birthday party for Benjamin with little folks and their moms. Those attending were mom, Lori Bush with son Justin, Marilyn and daughter, Julie Meyer, Sandy Etten with children, Julie and Eric, Linda McCormick with daughter, Heather, Robin Hallberg, and Barb Arnold with son, Brian. Grandmother Jaenecke of Harvard had loads of fun organizing games for the children. Later that evening another party was held for Benjamin with daddy, Doug, and grand­ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Belohlavy and Mr. and Mrs. Jaenecke. Benjamin had a great time opening presents and having the birthday song sung twice to him. RUMMAGE SALE A rummage sale sponsored by the Mary-Martha Guild of St. John Lutheran church, will be held Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The church is located on Route 176, next door to the Island Lake village hall. Girl Scout \ews The twenty-second annual meeting of the Sybaquay Girl Scout council will be held April 26 at the Apple Orchard Country club in Bartlett. A total of 124 delegates representing over 8,000 girls will come together to elect board members, officers and do the business of the Sybaquay council. Delegates will also participate in a series of discussion groups designed to give input to the board of directors. Topics will include program for girls 12 to 17 years of age, delivery of Girl Scout service to each community and National and International Girl Scout opportunities for girls and adults. Delegates elected to respresent the Girl Scouts of McHenry are Kitty O'Neill, Trish Eiserman, Kathy Klotz, Pam Dean and Pat Barnes.
