McHenry Area 12-Inch Softball RUSTY NAIL STOPS WAYNE'S TWICE The Rusty Nail played Wayne's in the 'doubleheader of the week' and came out on top twice by scores of 9-3 and 14-8. Twig Miller had 2 hits, 2 runs and 2 RBI's to pace the winners in game one. Rich Peterson had a pair of hits with 2 runs scored while Larry Jones and Ron Miller had 2 hits each. Both classes meet Thursday, June 21, through July 26, one from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and one from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tom Hubbard will instruct the students in card tricks, slight of hand, and rope tricks. The close-up magic will comprise the first half of the workshop. The second half will involve platform magic. Materials will be provided No Christian Science stage magice will be taught because of its impractical nature and cost to students. Besides being a magician, Hubbard works as a counselor for McHenry County Family Services and Community Mental Health. He will give a one-man family magic show at the PM & L Theatre in Antioch June 30 and July 1.
