Brochure For Handicap Outdoorsman Available International \bar ofthe Child 1979 In-Three-fourths of the ternational Year of the Child is already gone. Only three months of the time set apart for emphasizing the rights of children remain. We are well aware that no twelve month observance can solve the problems related to the child's rights. Emphasis upon these rights should be the normal, on going, persistent and daily experience, not only for families with children but for persons of any age. One chief 'roadblock' is created by the ways we see security. We seek security in our occupations, our houses, our investments, our wisdom, our skills, our relationships to power figures, our military establishments. To possess security in relationship to children we, as adults and parents, must take respon sibility for rearing children. To rear a child is a vast task, in cluding physical, mental, emotional, social, moral, and religious dimensions. Yet, tfits--- rewarding task can be shared by parents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, grandparents and by a family extended as widely as possible. When we "invest" our energies in bettering the life of a child, we are '.'investing" in our future - the future of the world. Ed Asner, television's "Lou Grant", stressed that millions of children in depressed areas of the world face a daily life of "con taminated water, mulnutrition, and a lack of health services and education". Through our participation in UNICEF Day, Oct. 31, we can help to improve their condition now and in the future. At least it can be when the "interest" in question is the kind spoken of in a recently completed survey by national researchers. They reported two-thirds of the adult population have more interest in the U S ecomonic system now than a year ago. This favorable increase in interest is at tributed to two factors: the present state of the economy, with both in flation and recession making the headlines; and, the effect of a national advertising campaign being waged by the Ad Council. Researchers said the study shows a sharp upward increase in awareness and interest in the Amnercian ecomonic system especially among the better educated, higher income segment of the population, as well as students, people in the West and Midwest, and the middle income group. Bottom line for the Ad council's campaign (now going into the fourth year) is that those who learn mote about the economic system in this country come to apprecite the way it works, for all its problems, nothing better has ever been devised than the free enterprise system that remains the hallmark of our economy. 3.5 H.P. 5 H.P. 7.5 H.P. .9 H.P. 6 H.P. 20 H.P. 85 H.P. with power trim $328.00 *450.00 $525.00 *630.00 $705.00 $788.00 *2012.00 m**" LIMITED OFFER!
