STAFF PHOTO-WAYNE GAYLORD L WALSH By Dick Rabbitt The Crystal Lake Tigers will invade McCracken Field tonight to play the Warriors in a Fox Valley conference game. Kickoff is 8 p.m. The Tigers are currently in a three way tie for the second spot. Their only loss was to Jacobs 25 to 7 two weeks ago. Coach Bill Mack has another tough ball club this season. Graves their senior quar terback is a fine ball handler, and although the Tigers don't pass often, he is capable of putting the ball into his receivers' hands. Former neighbor of mine, Todd Marunde, is the big gun in the Tiger attack. The 5'9", 180 lb. senior is the scoring leader in the conference. He gained this distinction with 4 touchdowns last week against Cary Grove. The Tigers have an array of running backs behind a big strong, quick line. On the other hand don't sell the Warriors short. Coach Joe Schlender has had the Warriors in every game this seaon. The popular coach has predicted that one of these days the Warriors are going to turn loose on some opponent. - You can bet the Warriors are working on their kicking game this week. Only for the lack of a couple of extra points this season the Warriors could be easily 1 and 5. With Tim Sabatka at the helm, and fine receivers in Tim Klapperich and Barry An derson, along With the running of Rob Kalck, Jim Wilson and Dave D'Angelo, the Warriors are about ready to give notice on some of the Fox Valley teams.
