Outstanding leaders are announced for their many years of service, and are honored by members, with speeches by the 4-H King and Queen. / Members are recognized by receiving the high awards offered on the county level for outstanding projects, and the project winners are selected by the McHenry County Youth council. Outstanding members are also selected, based on their total accomplishments on different projects and 4-H, school, community and church activities. Eventually he becomes a papal knight representing the president at the Vatican and then is elected Pope himself. There is a striking coincidence between the plot and recent events: ...both; feature a short lived Pontiff succeeded by a non-Italian Pope. Revise RTA Bus Routes Over 20 suburban bus routes serving the six-county region will be revised to better meet the tranr sportation needs of residents, as a result of action taken by the Regional Transportation authority board of directors. In McHenry county, Route 809 (Woodstock-McHenry- Crystal Lake) will eliminate weekday evening service. RTA board members have approved implementation of the suburban Bus Produc tivity study, citing a need to eliminate five routes and revise service on 28 routes due to low usage. Board members also directed staff to market several routes in an effort to make the public more aware of the services RTA is providing in specific areas. The bus productivity study examined the effectiveness of 57 suburban routes in the region, pinpointing areas were $468,600 in operating expenses can be saved by the Authority which funds bus carriers in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and will counties. Board members approved the study after a series of public hearings were held to seek input from suburban residents. Many routes which staff had originally targeted for elimination were retained after sub stantial interest was shown by municipal officials and residents.
