Twice Told Tales FIFTY YEARS AGO (Taken from the files of December 5, 1929) The first airplane express service for McHenry was inaugurated last week when a Thanksgiving turkey was brought from Waukegan to Mr. and Mrs. George Bohr of this city by Pilot Earl Peterson in his blue and silver Lincoln-Paige biplane. Mr. and Mrs. Bohr entertained the following guests on Thanksgiving day; Mr. and Mrs. William Pries and children, Helen, Billy and Eleanor, of Waukegan and Earl Peterson of this city, all of whom enjoyed the airplane turkey.
